After visiting Glidden Point in autumn 2021, we decided we needed to have some of their oysters for our New Years Eve celebration in Oklahoma City. We ordered this shucker as we didn’t have any tools, and it was perfect! Everyone at the party wanted to try it out, and everyone found it easy to handle. We’ll order another one of these shuckers when we place our next oyster order!

The Damariscotta Shucker worked very well for me, shucking oysters for the first time. It is tricky shucking farmed oysters with such thin shells without breaking the top shell in half, but that's not the fault of the knife.
