*Fathers Day Special* The Grill Kit + Dad Cap
6One of our favorite ways to eat oysters when the weather gets warmer in Maine is to whip up a compound butter to pair with oysters and clams. In this kit, we put together all the pieces you need for an easy afternoon grill session with Dad, while looking the part.
24 Brickyard Oysters :
Brickyard oysters pay homage to the history of brick manufacturing that was once a thriving industry on the Damariscotta River. The region supplied bricks all over the country, and became the building blocks of iconic New England landmarks, including Boston's Back Bay. These oysters are known for their craggy shapes and twists and turns that make them ideally suited for grilling, roasting and steaming - if you want to try your hand at cooking oysters, this is the variety for you!
24 Littleneck Clams
Our littleneck clams are dug up by our wild harvester partners and then raft purged in out wet storage in the Damariscotta River so that they are grit and sand free to save you a step in the preparation process. Excellent raw or in your favorite clam dish, these littlenecks are sweet, tender and clean. Littlenecks are small, roughly 2 inches across.
Chimichurri Spice Bled + Casco Bay Butter
Melt butter and mix in chimichurri spice, then chill in rounds for a quick compound butter, or place pats of butter on grilling shellfish and sprinkle chimichurri on top. Either way, the spice of the Chimichurri and heat of the grilled oysters will warm you through and through!
Glidden Dad Cap
The hat is 100% cotton and lined with cool crown mesh to keep your head comfortable in any weather. Available in a worn in blue with brown leather strap and brass cap. One size fits most.
