Glidden Point Oysters

$75

Glidden Point oysters are renowned for their heavy shell, and beautiful appearance. We grow Glidden Points slowly, and in the nutrient-rich depths of the Damariscotta River, a world class growing environment. We start Glidden Point oysters from seed and grow them in upwellers and floating bags on the surface of the river until they reach the appropriate size to be harvested.

All Glidden Point oysters are harvested by hand, and often by scuba diver. We touch our oysters every step of the way, and it's the care we take, whether it's grading seed, diving, or culling, that produces a premium oyster we're proud to share with you, and proud to call our own.

Legendary oysters and a fantastic experience

I would be hard pressed to think of a time I had better tasting oysters. They were plump, and full of a wonderful briney flavor that has a clean, fresh finish. AMD I really appreciate the temperature tracker on the packaging. There was a slight delay in shipping, but the tracker left no questions or concerns about the safety of the oysters. I cannot wait to order these beauties again!

Christmas oysters

The cocktail oysters are OK they are just small the week before I had gotten a shipment of selects and those are amazing. There’s nothing like them so then when I order the cocktail oysters for Christmas, it was a step down they were still sweet and delicious and fresh with a perfect balance of salinity, but they were small.
