Nestled in the pristine, remote waters of Upper Middle Bay near Harpswell, Maine, Love Point Oysters are a testament to thoughtful farming and environmental stewardship. Farmers Ben Hamilton and Cameron Barner, a two-man team with deep roots in aquaculture, started their journey in 2019. Their oysters are cultivated with care using sustainable techniques that not only produce exceptional flavor but also give back to the planet through their participation in the Shellfish Growers Climate Coalition and 1% for the Planet.
Why You’ll Love Them:
-
Flavor: A vibrant blend of bright cucumber notes and delicate brine, paired with robust, plump meat that finishes clean.
-
Beautiful Shells: Marbled, clean shells with striking purple tones, black striations, and an elegant off-white finish.
-
Sustainably Cultivated: Raised in floating cages flipped weekly to ensure uniform growth and harvested after 18–30 months, these oysters represent meticulous care and eco-conscious practices.
