Winter Update

How's everyone hanging in there? Our team is fully in winter project mode, and Farmers John Clapp and Colin Casey are steadily whittling away at winter projects. So far, they've already hand built our new wet storage float, that is an integral last step of our growing process, where the oysters rest and purge after harvest and cull so that they get to you clean and grit-free. John and Colin have also hand built all the wire cages (pictured above) that we insert into wet storage, and Colin is tackling boat maintenance, while John works on drag design. Our Retail Store is currently closed, but you can still preorder for pick up on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Allyson our Farm Store manager has been working away at optimizing the Farm Store experience for when we open Mother's Day weekend for Outdoor Dining, and there are a lot of exciting new things in the works for the Farm Store this year that we're excited to share with you.

A few updates in regards to our online store: First, we have changed our ship day to Wednesday, and all orders going forward will be delivered on Thursdays (except for Holidays). Additionally, we are completely sold out of Glidden Point bottom cultured oysters until the guys start harvesting again in June (June! We know!) It will be here before you know it, and in the meantime, we've got our growing Coastal Harvesters Collection, and Glidden Point topsiders which are equally lovely and whose shells have hardened up well in wet storage this winter which make for a great shucking experience.

Is there anything you'd like to see on our online store, do you have any feedback? Please let us know, we are always all ears. You can send us an e-mail to sales@gliddenpoint.com, or leave a comment below.

Thank you, all of you, for your continued support, we are so grateful for your orders that keep us afloat.
