How to read your temp tracker and dispose of your packaging.

Temperature Controls

Oysters are packed for two-day shipping.

This helps when shipping is
delayed and your package is not received overnight. See the Temp tracker included in the package to determine if the product
is still safe to eat.


A FreshTag is attached to the inside of the box. It acts as an indicator of the condition that your package arrives in.


When you receive your package, the color in the circular window should range from green to warm yellow, indicating the shellfish is safe to eat.

--If it is white, move the gel around to make sure it is fully mixed.

--If it is dark orange or red, do not consume the product and please send

OUR PACKAGING

We use eco-friendly packaging whenever possible. This includes a compostable shipping box.

To dispose of packaging:
--Recycle or compost box
--Cut gel, compost contents, throw away plastic exterior.
--Compost oyster bags
